Driven by three women, Fiorella and Sonia (fashion designers, with extensive experience in the industry) and Catalina (with a background in education and projects implementation) El Club de la Moda positiva was born from the decision, from the need, for people -starting from early on: children- to understand everything that is involved in the clothes they wear. The particularity of their approach lies in the fact that they consider it central to educate from a positive, creative, point of view, emphasizing the need to think of solutions, instead of burying change under the burden of guilt and defeatist perspectives. They offer an insider’s view of all the activities involved in the clothing market (creation, transport, sale and destruction of clothing, etc), as well as its size and environmental effects.
Based on this knowledge, they have designed a series of activities to be carried out in schools (both at primary and secondary level): Travelling Clothes, The Voice of Clothes, Clothes Swap, Habits, Heroes or Villains, among others. These activities are creative, playful, easy to implement and with very good results. They have even created a card game about the clothes we usually wear and also deliver workshops for adults.
